They were really nice about it all. Good luck! Thanks for the replies and I'll keep you posted as what happens. I'm under the impression that freezing Humira makes it useless. Hopefully they give you a freebie! Humira with send you a replacement at no cost to you. The nurse last night said that this is not the first time that this has happened and tha the safety dept will call on Monday and tell us our fate. What do you think I will have to do with frozen ones?
Will they have me send them back or dispose of them? It was a day before we noticed because they were in the down stairs fridge. Humira sent me 2 freebies to replace them. Didn't have to provide proof or send them back or anything! I'll let you know what happens today.
Humira then said that they would do a one time replacement for free. Wolfie40 Veteran Member. Of all the stupid things! I still haven't heard back from Humira. I know there's no way my insurance will give me more, so I guess I'm just stuck with what I have and hope that it's got some live protein left in it! El Pescador- I know exactly what you mean. When a medication is so important to how your everyday life is, you hate to think of something as trivial as fridge temp affecting it!
Thanks Lee. Joined: Oct Hi Lee,I don't know about the pen ,but the injection has to be stored anywhere between 2 and 8 on your fridge dial, hope this helps. Sorry, forgot to say ,they also told me to store it on the middle shelf. Moderated by ElinAslanyan , RyanMiyamoto. List your great doc here!

Being helpful I'm sure, someone moved all of my Humira from the refrigerator to the freezer. I don't know how long it was actually in the freezer because I went away for a week and when I came back I found it in there.
Stupidly, I didn't have a thermometer in the case with my Humira so I'm not sure exactly how cold it got but I do know that freezers in Central America are much warmer than in the U.
I can't get Humira where I am living and the only only moderately reasonable solution that I can come up with is to ask someone in the states to overnight Fedex it to the remote village in Nicaragua where I am living.
There is really no option to actually overnight something so I'm afraid that whatever I get sent will get to warm.
